Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder
Sophia Lazar
Sophia is a 17-year-old junior at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, but she was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Growing up with a blind father sparked her commitment to supporting people suffering from ocular diseases. She continues to advocate for the disabled community as a whole while also focusing more specifically on the visually impaired.

Chief Operating Officer and Co-founder
Izabel Reimer
Izabel is a 16-year-old junior at Brooklyn Friends School in Brooklyn, New York. Her compassion serves as the foundation of her hard work and dedication to enhancing the lives of the visually impaired as well as their families. She is a guiding force behind the mission, and she approaches each initiative with an unwavering sense of empathy.

Chief Financial Officer
Sofia Hatzigiannis
Sofia is a current junior at Phillips Academy and lives in North Andover, Massachusetts. She is eager to help the disabled community and has done much research to further her knowledge about different ocular diseases while also managing the organization’s finances.

Chief Digital Officer
Kai Mafunga
Kai is a junior at Phillips Academy and is originally from Claremont, California. She loves mixed media, as well as playing the guitar and competing in various sports like basketball and track and field events. She displays much excitement as she contributes to Mission Sight’s initiatives.

Operations Manager
Maggie Agosto
Maggie is 17 and is a junior from the Boston area of Massachusetts. She is passionate about helping those in need of support whether it be those with ocular diseases or people in need of other forms of support. She has experience with nonprofits, which helps her in her management of Mission Sight operations.

Marketing Manager/Content Writer
Sarah Katib
Sarah is a 16-year-old junior at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. She joined Mission Sight inspired by her close relationship with her cousin, who has faced challenges related to her visual impairment. Through her personal experience, she's passionate about raising awareness and fostering inclusivity around visual diversity.
